O'Dell William Roberts, Jr.

O’Dell "Junebug" William Roberts, Jr., 70, of Switzer, WV departed this life on Sunday, June 9^th, 2024, at his residence. He was born on August 13^th, 1953, in Logan, WV to the late O’Dell Roberts, Sr. “Red” and Ernestine Damron.

He was a carpenter. He graduated from and played football for Chapmanville. He loved everyone.

Those left to cherish his loving memory includes his wife, Janet (Basadre) Roberts of Switzer, WV; two daughters, Wendy (Aaron) Simpson of Michigan, and Stacy (Mark) Butcher of Grafton, WV; four grandchildren, Ian Simpson, Eli Simpson, Zoey Basadre, and Kylee Butcher; brothers, Jim (Edie) Damron of Ohio, and Vince “Eddie” (Rie) Damron of Japan; sister, Sandra Craddock of Rocky Branch, WV; and a host of other family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, June 14^th, 2024, at Highland Memory Gardens in Chapmanville, WV.

The family will have a celebration of his life at a later date.
