Patricia Browning

Patricia Swan Browning of Mitchell Heights passed away peacefully into heaven on Saturday, July 18, 2015.
She was the mother of Joneica Browning-Jones , and the grandmother of Meadow Jones whom she loved and treated as her own. She was the daughter of Joan and Dr. Robert Swan, the sister of Marina Carnal, Rebecca Afzalirad, Robert Swan Jr. (Terry), and Brenda Swan Hall (James). She had a best friend that she loved like a brother,... Dr. Edward Stewart, and a best friend that she loved like a sister, Louise Pilati.
She is following the death of her husband of 32 years, Ernest Browning, and her father, Dr. Robert I. Swan.
She was grad of Logan High School in 1972, graduated from nursing school at SWVCC in 1977, and worked at Logan General Hospital ER for almost 30 years. She also had a LA style catering business in the early 90's.
Patty was a very loving person. She was not only loved widely, but she was loved deeply. She loved Meadow more than anything in the world, and she told her every day. Patty will be extradionarily missed, but always loved profoundly, and always in our hearts. A heart can be broken, but it keeps beating on just the same. She forever altered ours. In keeping with her wishes her remains were cremated and no services are planned at this time.
