Patricia Sue Burgess

Patricia Sue Burgess, 69, of Chauncey, West Virginia, left this world on November 20th, 2023, at Cabell Huntington Hospital after battling a long term illness. Pat was a loving mom and mamaw. If you knew Pat, you would say that she was a very happy-go-lucky type of person who always had a smile on her face.

Pat was the daughter of Paul and Nora “Sis” Burgess. Pat is now reunited with her parents, as well as her sister, Pauline Frye, and two brothers, Paul “Jr” Burgess, and William “Kenny” Burgess.

Those left to cherish her memory includes her three children, Trish (Dan) Pimentel of Lathrop MO,  David (Cassandra) Tomblin, Jr. of Chauncey, WV, and Lisa Hall of Wilkinson WV; nine grandchildren, Miranda (Quincy) Taylor, Alexandria (Cody) Mengel, Mackenzie (Patrick) Scites, Chandra Fields, Adriana Fields, McKennon Cordes, Madison Hall, David Tomblin III, and Matthew Hall; seven great grandchildren, Jazlyn Gaiter, Jasper Taylor, Sonny Taylor, Maddox Knox, Lennox Knox, Maximus Mengel and Matthias Mengel; and a host of several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Saturday, November 25th, 2023 at Omar Community Center in Omar, WV (497 Cow Creek Road Omar, WV 25638)

Collins Funeral Home of Switzer, WV is assisting the family with Pat’s final care.
