Patty Ann Chatell

Patty Ann (Vance) Chatell, 69 of Chapmanville, WV departed this life on Thursday, March 16^th, 2023 at Logan Regional Medical Center in Logan, WV. She was born on April 18^th, 1953, in Logan County, WV and was the daughter of the late Roy and Marie Mary Vance. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Lon Allen Chatell; three sisters, Lutisha Crane, Susie Farmer, and Silva Gene Vance; and three brothers, Buddy Vance, David Vance, and Curtis Vance.

Patty was a cop, firefighter, nurse, and had her pilot licenses. She also worked for Ford Motor Company and retired from Mazda.

Those left to cherish her loving memory includes her sister, Phyllis Hendrick; niece, Melissa (Chris) Ellis; brother-in-law, Charles “Buddy” Crane, special friends, Bob Marcum and Fred Webb; and a host of other family and friends.

In honoring her wishes, she will be cremated and there will be no services.
