Priscilla "Sill" Meadows

Priscilla “Sill” Meadows, 80, of Omar, WV, departed this life on Monday, February 20, 2023, surrounded by family.

She was born on August 20, 1942, to the late Willie and Mary Meadows. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Orville Meadows; sister-in-law, Marcella Meadows; nephew, Derrick Meadows; and an infant sister.

Although she was never married or had children of her own, she was like a second mother to many people whom she loved. When she was able, Sill loved to yard sale and spend time with her family and friends.

Those left to cherish her loving memory includes her sisters, Mary (Cliff) Evans of Charleston, WV and Frances (Ernest) Hager of Omar, WV; nieces and nephews, Deborah Ray, Stephanie (Jay) West, Crystal (Chuck) Poston, Chad (Lisa) Hager, and David (Shanda) Hager; great-nieces and nephews, Brittany (Lance) Dorr, Jason (Brianna) West, Erin (Matthew) Glascoe, Seth Meadows, Megan (Blake) Carpenter, Joseph West, Trey Hager, and Amelia Hager; great-great nieces and nephews, Emalee Dorr, Alera Buehl, Bella Boles, Khloe Boles, and Kayden Dorr; and a host of other family and friends.

In honoring Sill’s wishes, there will be no funeral service held but there will be a memorial gathering at 6:00 pm, Saturday, February 25, 2023, at New Life Freewill Baptist Church in Rossmore, WV.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Collins Funeral Home Inc. of Switzer, WV.
