Ricky A. Gill

Ricky A. Gill, 66, of Gibsonville, NC, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 31, 2023. He was born in Holden, WV on September 20, 1956, to the late Ernestine (Tina) and Claude (Tommy) Gill formerly of Whitman. He is survived by his Aunt Norma G. Thompson, his Uncle Herman Mathews, and first cousins Vicki L. Zeto, Kathy S. Cox, Michael E. Cox (Kim), Lori L. Blevins (Rodney) and David Mathews.

He received his Bachelor’s in Business Administration from West Virginia University and was employed by LabCorp Corporation of America in Burlington, NC, as a lab technician. He enjoyed sports and was an avid fan of the WVU Mountaineers and UNC Tarheels.

The family will be having a graveside service, Friday, April 7, 2023, at 12:00pm at Highland Memory Gardens, Chapmanville, WV. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Beacon Place AuthoraCare, 2502 Summit Avenue, Greensboro, NC 27405.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Collins Funeral Home Inc., of Switzer, WV.
