Robin Viola (Smith) Browning

Robin Viola (Smith) Browning, 61 of Gilbert, WV went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, surrounded by her loving family at Logan Regional Medical Center in Logan, WV. She was born on August 4, 1963, in Welch, WV and was the daughter of the late James Winfred Smith and Ruby Jean (Sloan) Smith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Smith, Jr.; and nephew, Ryan Smith.

Robin loved her grandchildren and her family more than life. She enjoyed visiting the beach.

Those left to cherish her memory includes her husband of forty-three years, Walter Ward Browning; son, Keith (Tessa) Browning; daughter, Savannah (Dustin) Blankenship; brother, Richard (Terri) Smith; sister, Selena (Randy) Lovejoy; grandchildren, Avia Harmon, Alayna Harmon, and Leona Browning; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Justice Tabernacle Church in Justice, WV with Assistant Pastor Louie Vanover and Rev. James Jessie officiating. Burial will follow in Leatherwood Cemetery in Justice, WV. Pallbearers will include Pete Highlander, Devin May, Braxton May, Earl Harmon, Jordan Vanover, Dakota Jessie, Dustin Blankenship, and James Jessie. Honorary pallbearers will include Richard Smith, Randy Lovejoy, and Tony Buchanan.

A visitation will be held two hours prior to the funeral service at 12:00 pm.
