Roger Lee Baldwin

Roger Lee Baldwin 69, of Switzer, departed this life Monday, April 24, 2017 in Logan Regional Medical Center.  He was born August 14, 1947 in Logan, to the late Fred and Pauline (Osborne) Crabtree.  He was a soldier in the United States Army and had worked as a Carpenter and Coalminer.  In addition to his parents he also preceded in death by his grandparents.  Those left to cherish his memories are his wife Patricia “Patty” (Kirk) Baldwin of Switzer, one son Kenneth Lee Baldwin and one daughter Paula Marie Baldwin Kirk both of South Point, OH, two step-sons Billy (Lana) Riffe of Chapmanville and James (Doddie) Riffe of Crystal Block, one step-daughter Charlene (David) Lambert of Omar, three sisters; Sheila (David) Jeffrey of Whitman, Cathy (Jeff) Moore of Grove City, OH and Debbie (Mike) Carroll of Madison, one grandson Brandon Kirk and nine step-grandchildren Suntana Au-Yeng, William Riffe Jr., Josh Kirkpatrick, James Riffe Jr., Hailie Riffe, Shanda Workman, Brian Craft, David Gage Lambert and Nickolas Combs.   Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, April 30, 2017 at Collins Funeral Home Chapel will Rev. Layton Lockhart officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 6 to 9 PM Saturday, April 29, 2017 at the Funeral Home.  Pallbearers will be David Jeffrey, James Riffe, Brian Craft, Nickolas Combs, David Gage Lambert and David Lambert.  Collins Funeral Home of Switzer is in charge of the arrangements.  Condolences may be left at www.collinsfuneralhomewv.com./
