Rosa Lee Clark

Rosa Lee (Vance) Clark, 67 went home to be with the Lord on March 7th, 2021. She was born on February 3rd, 1954 to the late Columbus Vance and the late Marie Brewer. She was a humble, sweet, delightful woman who was loved and adored by many. She was a member of the Omar Community Church and a devoted, loving, caring wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her father, Columbus Vance; her mother, Marie Brewer; husband, Douglas Clark; mother-in-law, Lula Mae Clark; brother-in-law, Justin Clark; sister-in-law, Judy Johnson; sister-in-law, Eula Curry; sister, Connie Swims.

Those left to cherish her memories includes her daughter, Melinda (Greg) Ellis of Omar, WV; daughter, Jennifer (Mike) Day of Glen Fork, WV; one son, Douglas Allen Clark of Omar, WV; grandchildren, Kayla (Bubby) Dillon of Chapmanville, WV, Tonya (Dylan) Nunley of Man, WV, Taylor (Dylan) Hamilton of Chapmanville, WV, Savannah Clark of Sidney, NY, Brayton Clark of Sydney, NY, Cage Clark of Gilbert, WV, Chase Ellis of Omar, WV, Makayla (Blake) Dunbar of Glen Fork, WV; great grandchildren, Aiden Carter, Isaiah Dillon, and Riley Light of Chapmanville, WV, Abel Nunley and Blade Nunley of Man, WV, Peyton Burkley of Glen Fork, WV, Colt Hamilton of Chapmanville, WV; sisters, Linda (Don) Newsome, Lorraine McCloud, Gail Marcum, Debbie Pullen, Diana Vance; brothers, Elbert (Judy) Vance, Jimmy (Alisha) Vance, Columbus Vance Jr.; a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Also her Clark family, Darrell (Darlene) Clark, Rita (Tom) Waller, Betty (Mike) Eskelin, Kathy Woodruff, Glenda Bias, Roger (Gwen) Clark, Lee (Janet) Clark, Allen (Thelma) Clark. Nephews held dear to her heart are, Eric Clark, Zachary McKinney, and Robert “Scottie” Clark; two nieces held dear to her heart were Deanna McCloud and Patricia Bias Fleming.

Graveside services will be held 1:00 pm Thursday, March 11th, 2021 at Forest Lawn Cemetery. A memorial dinner will follow at Omar Community Church. Collins Funeral Home Inc. of Switzer, WV is in charge of arrangements.
