Rosie Louise (Crum) Adkins

Rosie Louise (Crum) Adkins, 87, of Chauncey, WV, departed this life on Wednesday, January 25^th, 2023, at Logan Regional Medical Center in Logan, WV. She was born on July 17^th, 1935, in Logan County, WV to the late George W. and Pauline (Gillman) Crum. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Adkins; one sister, June Augustine; two brothers, Harold Crum, and Ralph Crum; and three son-in-laws, Jimmy Stapleton, Lonnie Wells, and Randy Jude.

Those left to cherish her loving memory includes her children, Sandra Adkins of Wilkinson, WV, Cynthia Jude of Mud Fork, WV, Teresa (Kevin) Donahoe of Monaville, WV, and Paula Adkins of Chauncey, WV; sister, Sharon Crum of Niles, OH; brother, Archie (Nancy) Crum of Salem, OH; a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends; special friends, Bill Smith and Doris Lambert; two special family members, Jim and Carol Blankenship; grandchildren, Latosha, Jamie, JR, Amber, Ashley, April, Lonnie, and Colten; great grandchildren, Cody, Gracie, TJ, Josh, Kaydence, Brooklynn, Lexi, Asher, Riddock, Lance, Mady, and Bentley; and great-great grandchild, Layla.

Rosie enjoyed her family and friend gatherings. She loved to cook for her family as well, she made sure she fed everyone, and no one left her house hungry! A beautiful soul who lived a beautiful life and loved everyone.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm Monday, January 30^th, 2023, at New Day Family Worship Center.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, January 31^st, 2023, also at the church with Pastor Jeremy Tomblin officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Godby, WV. Pallbearers will include Kevin Donahoe, Colton Donahoe, Josh Goldie, Lonnie Wells, Cody Wells, and Peabo Kelly.
