Roy Gene Russell

Roy Gene Russell, 67 of Stollings, WV departed this life on Wednesday, March 1^st, 2023, at his residence. He was born on January 16^th, 1956, in Cleveland, OH to the late Walter and Daisy (Walls) Russell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Walter Russell, Jr., and Michael Russell; three sisters, Mary Calloway, Linda White, and Celia Hatfield.

Those left to cherish his loving memory includes his wife, Myra Russell; two daughters, Michell (Derric) Hatfield, and Amy Morrison; one brother, Emmett Russell; six grandchildren, Myron Morrsion, Daisy (Cole) Ellis, Chloe (Sidney) Morrison, Hannah Hatfield, Logan Hatfield, and Houston Hatfield; two great grandchildren, Harlie Morrison and Drew Ellis; one special pet, Otis the pig; one bonus son, Derrick Morrison; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, March 6^th, 2023, at Collins Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Chapmanville, WV. Pallbearers will include family and friends.

A visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service.
