Ruby Marie (Johnson) Browning

Ruby Marie (Johnson) Browning, 71, of Omar, WV departed this life Wednesday, January 12th, 2022, at Logan Regional Medical Center. She was born on March 8th, 1950, in Logan, WV to the late Jack and Alberta (Perry) Johnson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Emzea Browning Jr; two sisters, Velma Bevino and Joyce Lambert; and one grandchild, Octavia Hatfield.

Those left to cherish her loving memory includes one son, Kenneth (Traci) Perkins; three daughters, Sue (Earl) Hatfield, Joyce Perkins, and Shirley Cline; two brothers, Amos Johnson, and Henderson (Liz) Johnson; two sisters, Vada (Michael) Estep and Jackie Johnson; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held 1:00 pm Tuesday, January 18th, 2022, at Collins Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor CD Wolford officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will include family and friends.

A visitation will begin two hours prior to the funeral service starting at 11:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Collins Funeral Home for the funeral expenses.
