Rufus Collins

Rufus Larry Collins, 70, of Harts, WV departed this life Friday, October 29th, 2021, at Logan Regional Medical Center. He was born May 30th, 1951, in Harts, WV to the late Harrison Collins and Virgie (Tomblin) Collins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, JoAnn Collins; two daughters, Janice Crisp and Cynthia Collins; one son, Larry Collins Jr.; and two sisters, Florence Morrison, and Lucy Bryant.

Those left to cherish his loving memory includes one daughter, Josie Runyon; three brothers, Harrison Collins, Buford Collins, and Preston Collins; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.

A funeral service will be held 12:00 pm Thursday, November 11th, 2021, at Hannah United Baptist Church with Pastor Steve Nida officiating. Burial will follow in Harrison Collins Cemetery. Pallbearers will include family and friends.

A visitation will be held 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm Wednesday, November 10th, 2021, at the church.
