Ruth Ann Vinson

Ruth Ann Vinson, 75 of Omar, WV passed away on Wednesday, May 22^nd, 2024, after a long battle of cancer. She was the daughter of the late Mary Stivers and Harris Ben. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jackie Russell Vinson; daughter, Connie Lee Bragg; two sisters, Lizzie Vance, and Barbara Chafin; and one brother, Crit Ben.

The survivors include two sisters, Fannie (Clyde) Neace, and Nancy (Mike) Blevins; three grandchildren, Veronica (William) Hatfield, Jennifer (James) McPeek, and Critt Bragg; seven great grandchildren, Beila Hatfield, Colton Hatfield, Gabe McPeek, Adrian McPeek, Faithlyn McPeek, Brielle McPeek, and Jacklynn McPeek,; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

She enjoyed watching mountain men, doing scratch off tickets, and seeing her grandbabies.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm Friday, May 24^th, 2024, at Collins Funeral Home Chapel in Switzer, WV.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, May 25^th, 2024, at Collins Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Pecks Mill, WV. Pallbearers will include William Hatfield, James McPeek, Clyde Neace, Jr., along with family and friends.
