Sandra Sue Nelson

Sandra Sue Nelson, 75, of Switzer WV, departed this life, surrounded by loved ones, after a long illness, at CAMC, on November 24, 2023.

Sue was a homemaker, who had a great love for music, her family, and friends, and all the things that make the world beautiful. Drawn by kindness and sincerity, she could make anyone feel safe and loved, with just her smile. She had an affinity for hugs and letting her light shine, like a beacon.

Sue was preceded in death, by her mother and father (Jay and Bessie Napier), brothers Noel, Mike, and Joney and one sister, Janice, two of her sons were also waiting for her no doubt with open arms, (Keith Sullivan and Ernest Nelson).

She leaves behind so many loved ones who will hold her precious memory so dearly. Her best friend, caregiver and companion, Debbie Brown, whom she loved like a sister. Sue leaves her sister, Joan (John) Fry, one son, Charles (Trisha) Sullivan, of Whitman WV and one daughter, Rebecca (Chris) Mauk, of Switzer, WV. Sue has four grandchildren, Kenneth (Nisa) Sullivan and Nickolas, Jeremy, and Jasmine Nelson; and one great-granddaughter, Corrine Rae Sullivan, and one great-grandson, Hunter Jay Nelson. She also leaves behind special friends, June O'Dell, of Chicago, IL, Connie Sullican, of Circleville, OH, and Brenda Morgan of Stollings, WV.

Per her wishes, there will be no services, at this time. In her honor, we only ask, that you spread kindness, do a random good deed, and love your neighbors.
