Sarah Davis Reed

Sarah Fields Davis Reed, 80 of Wake Forest, NC completed her earthly assignment and peacefully transitioned into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ August 16th, 2018 at the Wake Medical Heart Center in Raleigh, NC.

          She was born on August 11, 1938 to her late parents Lillie Mae Pierce and William Harrison Fields in Whitman, WV.

          She was proceeded in death by two brothers and three sisters as well as her beloved son; Todd S. Fields.

          Sarah’s legacy will be cherished and remembered by her proud and loving children, daughter; Deirdre A. Fields of Washington, DC., sons; Anthony (Tony) Fields of Charleston, WV and Gregory D. (DLachelle) Fields Sr. of Jackonsville, Arkansas, also her grandchildren whom she loved dearly; Gregory Fields Jr. (Que) of Conway, Arkansas, Sarah Fields (Hunter) Podunavac of Logan, WV, and Anthony Fields of Wichita Falls, Texas, her precious great- grandchildren; Gregory D. Fields III of Atlanta, Georgia, Annali Fields of Atlanta, Georgia, Pressley Fields, Jacksonville, Arkansas, Lillie Podunavac of Logan, WV, other survivors; sister-in-law; Mrs. Hazel Fields of Logan, WV and her roommate/sister; Mrs. Martha Thomas of Wake Forest, North Carolina, several nieces and nephews and other friends & family.

          A visitation for Sarah will be held Friday, August 24, 2018 from 6-9PM at Collins Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service will be held at noon, Saturday, August 25, 2018 at The Monahill Memorial Freewill Baptist Church. Another visitation will be held at the church a hour prior to the funeral service.
