Sherri Strader

Sherri McCloud Strader 45, of Vesuvius, VA passed away Sunday, February 12, 2017.  She was born March 29, 1971 in Chicago, Illinois.  Sherri was an angel among us.  She spent her life serving as a wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, friend and EMS provider.  Her greatest passion was to help others.  Sherri touched so many lives both personally and professionally.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents; Garland and Hazel McCloud as well as Luther Baisden, her infant brother Jamie McCloud and her infant niece Kailee Baker.  Sherri is survived by her husband Justin Strader of Vesuvius, VA, son Joseph Vance and his wife Charity Vance of Stuarts Draft, VA; daughter Brieanna Vance of Uniontown, PA; grandchildren Jackson and Memphis Vance, Parents Rinno and Lana McCloud of Dingess, WV, Grandmother Betty Bigney of Barboursville, WV, Sister Lori Baker of Logan, WV, Nephews Hunter and Aiden Baker; nieces Whitney Evans, Chloe and Emma Baker of Logan, WV as well as many beloved cousins, aunts, and uncles.  The family will receive friends at Collins Funeral Home from 11:00am – 1:00pm Sunday, February 19, 2017 followed by a burial at McCloud Family Cemetery at Twelve Pole.
