Shirley Hepler

Shirley (Holstein) Hepler, 87, of Cora, WV departed this life Saturday, September 11th, 2021, at Logan Regional Medical Center. She was born on March 3rd, 1934, to the late Eunice Quince and Agnes Letha (Johnson) Holstein. In addition to her family, she was preceded in death by her husband, Windfred “Wink” Hepler; one son, Terry Hepler; one daughter, Debra Collier Browning; one brother, Vincel Holstein; six sisters, Eula Wiley, Greta Toney, Audrey Keyser, Eurada Hill, Lurline Browning, and Vivian Griffith.

She was the owner and operator at Shirley’s Bargain Barn at Stollings and Chapmanville for 20+ years.

Those left to cherish her loving memory includes one brother, Jimmy (Donna) Holstein of Accoville, WV; three sisters, Zola Sizemore of Tazewell, VA, Treva Mattas of Princeton, WV, and Dreama Wells of Madisonville, KY; two sons, Ron (Wendy) Hepler of Cow Creek, WV and Steve (Connie) Helper of Cora, WV whom Shirley lived with; six grandchildren, Ernest Collier Jr. (Melissa Dalton) of Holden, WV, Terry Hepler Jr. of Whitman, WV, Ronnie (Ashley) Hepler of Verdunville, WV, Steven (Courtney) Hepler Jr. of Cora, WV, Brianna (Jerry) Woodie of Bluefield, VA, and Preston (Chastidy) Hepler of Cora, WV; great grandchildren, Halie Collier (Bill Sturgill) of Campton, KY, Natalie Collier of Logan, WV, Addison Hepler of Verdunville, WV, and Levi Hepler of Cora, WV, great-great grandson, Bryce King of Campton, KY; and extreme amount of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 1:00 pm Thursday, September 16th, 2021, at Collins Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Harold McMillen Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Godby, WV. Pallbearers will include Steve Hepler, Ron Hepler, E.J. Collier, Ronnie Hepler, Steven Hepler Jr., and Preston Hepler.

A visitation will be held 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm Wednesday, September 15th, 2021, at Collins Funeral Home Chapel.
