Stella Thompson

Stella (Hall) Thompson, 85 of Micco, departed this life Wednesday December 02, 2015 in Lakewood, OH. She was born May 11, 1930 at 12 Pole, WV to the late Mander and Martha (Canterbury) Hall. She was a homemaker and of the Free Will Baptist Faith. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her grandparents, her husband; Frank Thompson, one daughter; Robin Leigh Thompson, one son; Roger Frank Thompson II, two brothers; Llomah and Luther Hall, and three sisters; Della Workman, Mae Spry and Pearl Nelson. Stella loved being the heart of the family caring and loving her children and grandchildren and anyone else that may have been in need. Her generosity touched many. Those left to cherish her memories are two daughters; Martha Merita (Michael) Delmonico of Lakewood, OH and Tessa Dawn (Jackie) Crile of Micco, two sisters; Betty Fisher of Medina, OH and Mable Hannah of Dayton, OH, four grandchildren; Mark Adam Vance of Dewale, KY, Matthew Miller of Lakewood, OH, Joyce Ann Castro of Texas and Kendra Elkins of Logan, sixteen great-grandchildren, one great-great grandson and one special sister-in-law Effie Castle of Micco. Services will be held Noon Tuesday, December 08, 2015 at Collins Funeral Home Chapel in Switzer with Rev. Layton Lockhart officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 P.M. Monday December 07, 2015 at the Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Collins Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
