Ted Adams

Ted Adams, 64 of Switzer, WV went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at 8:40 am on Sunday, December 18^th, 2022, at CAMC Memorial Hospice Division in Charleston, WV. He was born on November 26^th, 1958, in Cleveland, OH and was the son of the late Fred and Mary (Brennan) Adams.

Ted loved to fish and loved the river. Every summer, Ted and his wife, Cathy would take a trip to the New River for him to get in the river and fish.  He also loved spending time with his granddaughter, Arya Snow Rainwater. He enjoyed working with wood and was very talented with wood working. He worked as a Salesman at Thornhill-Ford Lincoln in Chapmanville, WV. He was a member of Monahill Memorial Freewill Baptist Church and loved the Lord with all his heart. He always wanted to go to church and even had attended when he was very sick last Wednesday, December 7^th.

Those left to cherish his loving memory includes his wife of thirty-six years, Cathy Adams of Switzer, WV; two sons, Ted Daniel Adams, and Jesse Freer Adams both of Switzer, WV; one daughter, Trista (Billy Tomblin) Adams of Mud Fork, WV; one sister, Faith Adams of Switzer; granddaughter, Arya Snow Rainwater; grandson on the way whom he would have loved like he loved Arya, William “Boone” Tomblin; and a host of other family and best friends.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, December 23^rd, 2022, at Monahill Memorial Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Joseph Vance officiating. Burial will follow in Chauncey Cemetery in Chauncey, WV.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm Thursday, December 22^nd, 2022, also at the church.
