Timothy "Breadman" Morrison

Timothy “Breadman” Morrison 56, of Varney WV, departed this life suddenly on Friday, August 30th, 2024. He was proceeded in death by his beloved father, Henry Morrison, and a few dear friends he considered family. 

Those left to mourn him are his wife of thirty-five years, Fawn Morrison; his mother, Loretta Morrison; brother Rod (Linette) Morrison, brother Gary (Lindsey) Morrison, brother Billy Morrison; daughter Nicole (Cody) Smallwood; son Kyle (Amber) Morrison, and his two beautiful grandchildren, Leighton, and Koltyn; and more friends than we could possibly name. 

There are not enough words to truly tell the story of Tim Morrison. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend. To know him was to love him. His wife lovingly referred to him as her “safe haven”. He never met a stranger, would give you the shirt off his back (or a cake from his truck), loved to hunt more than life itself, was incredibly competitive, would pick you to the bone but loved fiercely and deeply. His booming voice, big laugh, and tall tells will be missed by many. Tim worked for Flowers Baking Company for nearly forty years. You won’t find a person on his route that can’t sing the praises of “Breadman”. The hardest working and best man any of us knew and we were beyond blessed to have him even though it could never feel like enough time. 

Services will be held from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm Tuesday, September 3rd, 2024, at Collins Funeral Home Chapel in Switzer, WV. Burial will follow in Morrison Family Cemetery in Varney, WV. 

We won’t be having a formal ceremony but rather a celebration of the life he lived…and boy did he live a good life FULL of memories. We hope that you will come and share stories. 

We also hope that this sudden occurrence serves as a reminder to live life to the fullest! When you think of “Breadman” smile and maybe turn on a Bob Seger song.
