Timothy Darrell Sargent

Timothy Darrell Sargent, 58 of Verdunville, departed this life Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Appalachian Regional Healthcare in South Williamson, Kentucky. He was born July 20, 1960, at Holden, WV. to the late Jesse A and Irene (Tomblin) Sargent. He was retired coal miner. In addition to his parents, Timothy was preceded in death by three brothers; Hollus, Roger, and Larry Sargent.

Those left to cherish his loving memory includes his wife: Sherrie A. (Belcher) Sargent of Verdunville, WV; one son: Bo Sargent of Verdunville, WV; two daughters: Amanda (Kenny) Adkins of Teays Valley, WV and Kimberly (Matt) Lucas of Danville, WV; one brother: Donald (Drema) Sargent of Verdunville, WV; and seven grandchildren. A service will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Collins Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dennie Lambert Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Frye Cemetery in Verdunville, WV. He will be carried to his final resting place by family and friends. A visitation will be held 6:00-9:00 PM Tuesday, January 8, 2019 also at the funeral home chapel. Collins Funeral Home Inc. of Switzer, WV is assisting the Sargent family with arrangements.
