Victor Bascom "PeeWee” Watkins, 72, of Dingess, WV, departed this life on Sunday, July 30, 2023. Born to the late Gordon Watkins and Nancy Violet Tiller Watkins of Logan, WV, he was a beloved son, brother, father, and veteran of the US Army.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by daughter Lyla Watkins and siblings Karlene Watkins Edmonson, Buster Ray "Buck" Watkins, Roger "Weasel" Watkins, Donald Ray “Coon" Watkins, and Mary Margaret Watkins Blankenship.

Those left to cherish his memory include his children, daughter Carrie (Greg) Linker and grandson Collin Linker of Lebanon, Ohio, son Cody (Jessica) Hager of Danville, Kentucky, and granddaughter Harmony Tomblin of Logan, WV, siblings Gordon Lee "Duke" Watkins, Jr., of Columbus, Ohio, Ruth Jean Watkins of Chapmanville, WV, Virginia Mae Browning of Logan, WV, Nancy Gail Wimer of Logan, WV, Vivian Rose (Tom) Zamow of Chapmanville, WV, and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services have been entrusted to Collins Funeral Home of Switzer, WV.

A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
