Virgil L Blevins

Virgil Lee Blevins, 67, of Pecks Mill (Formerly of Tennessee) departed this life Tuesday, May 30, 2017 in Logan Regional Medical Center.  He was born in Logan on March 29, 1950 to the late Robert Lee and Veardean Elizabeth (Neace) Blevins. He was a retired coal miner and attended Bright Star Freewill Baptist Church. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Leslie Blevins and one niece Lynn Blevins. He is survived by wife, Brenda Blevins.  Children: Sandra (Jamie) Darnell, Angela (Daniel) McPeak, Valerie (Jason) McCarty, Amy (Samuel) Pastrana, Johnathan Blevins, Danyelle Blevins. Two granddaughters, Addison Walls and Harleigh McCarty, all of Tennessee. He is also survived by brothers: Robert, Millard, Lloyd, David and Toby Blevins. Sisters: Betty White, Janet Ellis, Patricia Brumfield, Kathy Kazee, and Linda Gaidurgis.  He had several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews whom he loved very much. And a very special uncle that he loved very much, Clyde (Fannie) Neace. In honoring his wishes, He was cremated and there will be a private family memorial service at a later date.  Collins Funeral Home of Switzer is in charge of the arrangements.
