William Gene Curry

William Gene Curry 75 of Stirrat, West Virginia, went to his heavenly home on January 11, 2025.

He was born on June 24, 1949, to the late James (Lark) Curry and Bessie (Chafin) Curry. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, P.J. Curry; three sisters, Rita (David) Ross, Patty (Keith) Rebar, and Joyce (Bill) Sanders; and three brothers, Elbert Lee Curry, J.L Curry, and Bobby (Janice) Curry.

Those left to cherish his memory includes his two daughters, Melissa Curry Adams (Steve Kelly) of Cow Creek, WV, Regina (Joe) Morris of Charleston, WV; one son, Bill (DeeDee) Curry of Stirrat, WV; two grandsons, Drew (Kourtney) Hardin of Cow Creek, WV, and Billie (Shawna) Curry of Charleston, WV; one granddaughter, Abi Curry of Logan, WV; great grandchildren, Jaxton Hardin of Cow Creek, WV, Waylon, Raelynn, and Bristol Curry of Charleston, WV; two sisters, Virginia (Larry) Adkins of Mt Gay, WV, and Debra (Arnold) Meadows of Cow Creek, WV; two brothers, Tommy (Jeanie) Curry of Chicago, IL, and George (Rebo) Curry of Thomasville, NC.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm Thursday, January 16, 2025, at Collins Funeral Home Chapel.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, January 17, 2025, at Collins Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor CD Wolford officiating. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Pecks Mill, WV. Pallbearers will include Drew Hardin, Billie Curry, JB Harmon, Jameson Harmon, Lane Harmon, Matthew Adkins, Larry Adkins, Danny Adkins, Steve Kelly, and Paul Hall.
