Winona Adams

Winona Adams, 71 of Wharncliffe, WV passed away on Friday, February 23^rd, 2024.

She was born on March 12^th, 1952, in Charlottesville, VA to the late Russell and Lucille Adams. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Litz and Scott Adams and a niece, Bridget Adams.

Those left to cherish her memory includes her daughter, April (Jamie) Cantrell and two grandsons, Dillon, and Devon Cantrell, all of White Pine, TN; brothers, Reed (Eloise) Adams of Gilbert, WV and Mike (Glenda) VanDyke of Jewell Ridge, VA. She is also survived by a host of nephews, nieces, family, friends, and a special caregiver, Traci Belcher.

She was a daughter, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. Her most proud title was Mimi to her grandsons who was her pride and joy.

In honoring her wishes, there will be no services.

She will be laid to rest at Woodland Memorial Park in Bluefield, WV with her parents and brother, Scott.

In her memory, the family requests contributions be made to the cancer organization of their choice.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Collins Funeral Home, Inc. of Switzer, WV.
