Yvonne Elizabeth “Von” Corbett

In love and infinite wisdom, our Heavenly Father has called into eternal life the gentle spirit of our dearly beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and aunt Yvonne Elizabeth "Von" Corbett who departed this life on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at her home. She was born to the late Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Corbett and Otis Corbett.

She was predeceased by her daughters, Charisse Corbett, and Jamie Corbett; brother Percy Crenshaw and fur baby Sherlock.

Yvonne graduated from Logan High School. She was last employed as a front desk clerk before being ill and unable to work. To know Yvonne was to love her, she loved her cats (fur babies) music, and spending time with her grandsons and close friends who became family to her. She looked forward to her regular Face Time calls with her brothers, sissy, and precious (niece) this uplifted her spirit.

She leaves to cherish one son, Brain Corbett of Logan West Virginia; six brothers, Gilbert Moales Sr. (Linda), Felix Delvalle, Otis Corbett, Michael Corbett, Terrance Corbett, and Arthur Corbett (Tyanet). Two grandsons; Mahryon Corbett, and Malakye Corbett, aunts, nieces, uncles, nephews, cousins, great nieces, great nephews, and friends, including her predeceased best friend Teresa Dillion (Jim).

A celebration of life will be held Sunday, September 15, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Collins Funeral Home Chapel in Switzer, WV. 

A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Collins Funeral Home Chapel.
